Matt is responsible for landscape design and planning across projects of all sizes, including site development, concept design, and detailed construction drawings. A Certified Landscape Designer (CLD) with education in Crafts & Design and the Visual Arts, Matt brings a strong artistic sensibility to every project, paired with a practical understanding of how landscapes are built. What truly sets Matt apart is his thoughtful, caring approach with clients. He takes the time to listen carefully, understand how clients want to use their outdoor spaces, and translate those ideas into clear, well-considered designs. With over 16 years in the landscape design-build industry—and four years of hands-on experience as a lead hand on Landmark’s construction crews—Matt understands the challenges and details involved in turning design concepts into finished outdoor environments. His blend of creativity, technical knowledge, and real-world construction experience allows him to deliver designs that are both beautiful and achievable.
