A modern new build embraces the natural environment

Gardens inspired by nature

The homeowner wanted a naturalized perimeter full of colour that would blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape, with a more contemporary garden near the house. We carefully integrated the new landscape — featuring a mix of shade and accent trees — with the mature trees and organic vegetation that graced the property’s perimeter.

A stunning new focal point

The property featured an existing organic-shaped pool, but after thorough deliberation and numerous design iterations, it was clear that the pool's location and style wouldn’t suit the modern new build. We refined a central axis-focused, rectilinear landscape design, creating a backyard with a stunning pool centrepiece that would complement the gorgeous home.

The homeowners love having a space where they can escape the city, unwind, and enjoy hosting family and friends in the backyard. The addition of multiple amenities makes entertaining a breeze, featuring a basketball court, outdoor kitchen, gas fire pit, and more.

Lucious gardens create a naturalized perimeter full of colour and interest to blend in with the natural landscape, with more contemporary gardens adjacent to the house.

A massive, custom vinyl pool replaced the existing pool, creating a stunning centrepiece that complements the home's aesthetics.

Multiple amenities include a basketball court, covered cabana with outdoor kitchen, shower, and changeroom, gas and wood-burning fire pits, custom stone waterfall feature, and a sunken hot tub.

A minimalist selection of materials helps achieve a modern, "less is more" aesthetic. Challenging drainage issues were overcome, ensuring the longevity of the expansive patio spaces.
